	Pro Slim™ 4.20 mm Diameter Borescope The Hawkeye^® Pro Slim Borescope combines a small diameter with bright illumination to bring you images with superb clarity. However, use of the included mirror tube accessory provides a 90º DOV, whilst only increasing the overall diameter to 4.8mm. The Pro Slim range are ideally suited to NDT (non-destructive testing) and inspecting machined metal parts, allowing clear visualisation of burrs, surface finish in bores and inspection of drilled cross-holes etc.

Alone, the Pro Slim has a 42º FOV, 0º DOV. However, use of the included mirror tube accessory provides a 90º DOV, whilst only increasing the overall diameter to 4.8mm.

These endoscopes are sold as a kit with all of the above items and a specialist cleaning kit which come in a hardy carrying case to keep them safe and organised.

Note 2	These scope were not designed to operate below 0º. However, several of our customers have successfully used the scopes in liquid Nitrogen at 77 deg. K.
Pressure	All Hawkeye borescopes were designed for use at ambient pressure. However, we have several customers who have successfully used Hawkeye Borescopes at pressures up to 500 PSI and down to 10-6 Torr. As the scopes were not specifically designed for this, the operator does so at their own risk.
Chemical Resistance	All Hawkeye Pro Rigid borescope tubes are water tight and are resistant to most hydrocarbons, such as oils, gasoline, hydraulic fluid, jet fuel, etc (excludes eyepiece). NB: Exposure to Acids and strong Alkali should be avoided as it will attack the optical window.
