Hawkeye^® V2  Portable Videoscopes are an updated version of the original video endoscope by Hawkeye.

They have adjustable LED lighting to provide variable illumination appropriate to the subject.

They are capable of 4-way articulation (with a range of +/-150°) which is controlled simply by a thumb lever on the borescope body allowing maximum flexibility for visualisation of features.

There is also a high resolution, integrated camera, which delivers sharp, clear and bright images and videos to the 5" LCD screen, where there is an additional 2x zoom option and video can be viewed live, or images can be captured to the SD card.

The overall unit has been designed for maximum durability and the insertion tube is made with a 4-layer construction, with stainless steel, Tungsten and Urethane, to prevent damage and maintain optimal functionality.

 The V2 Video Borescope is ideal for use in aircraft and power generation maintenance, as it allows quick and easy inspection of turbine blades, combustion chambers, cooling tubes and much more, all without the need for costly and time consuming engine and system tear-down.

It is similarly useful in foundries, as it allows engineers to inspect for flash, sand and voids inside complex castings.
